One bummer about using cloth diapers is that no one wants to hear you talk about them. Deep down, I just wish that someone in ‘real life’ would see my diapers and say, “Those look different. What are they?” Then I could tell that person that I use cloth diapers, and that they’re actually really cool, and that person would respond with, “Wow! I had no idea!”

My intention isn’t to convert the whole world to cloth (although that would be a plus). I just want to have a meaningful conversation with someone who is genuinely interested. I feel like this is a part of my life that I can’t share with anyone. There have been a few instances when I have forced cloth diaper conversation on people just to see if I could pique their curiosity, but as you all probably know, that never turns out well. No one wants an ear full of information they didn’t ask for.

Of course, there’s you. My wonderful friends of the internet. I’m so thankful to have this in common with you. It would just be nice to have someone outside of the computer to talk to once in a while. I’m sure you know what I mean. I promise I’m not taking you for granted.
